Sooner or Later

I had to take Sydney to the doctors today. She developed a pretty bad rash over this past weekend and it hasn't gone away. Every time I said I was going to call her pedi in the am, it had lightened by morning so I never called. I took Sydney to the park yesterday and it became scary red. Enough was enough. When I called, they went through the "did you change anything in" list (your diet, her diet, new lotions, sunscreens, or laundry detergents). I may be a rookie mom, but all of that is common sense. So I said no, no, and no. I tried Desitin, lotion, and changing the sheets. It's NOT going away. I assumed it was from her drool mixed with heat, but I needed peace of mind. Her doctor ended up giving her a prescription for Eletone cream along with a sample. It's a non-steroid creme used to treat Eczema. He also said to double rinse her sheets and to stop eating eggs and berries (me). OH! And apparently, Sydney has a small case of cradle cap. Man! We were on such a roll not having any problems! Sooner or later though, it had to happen. :)
