Breastfed babies have poop that doesn't smell. The first week after birth, it is completely odorless and resembles tar. Shortly after, it does take on a mildly bad smell, but nothing to make you gag over. It also turns into the consistency of pea soup. Well, my baby has started solids and I now want to vomit every time I change her. At least she's gone from doing the nasty deed 2-3 times a day to only once a day. It's getting thicker and smells more horrible than her father's poop. How could something so pure and beautiful expel such a monstrosity?
Well, this morning I had a treat. I opened Syd's diaper to find the cutest little turd I have ever seen. It was perfect in it's form and didn't smell one bit! In all my astonishment, I carried Syd in one arm and the diaper in the other to go show Daddy. "You pinched one out, did you?", he exclaimed, "Your turd cutter works now!"
