A six month milestone is finally on the horizon, but it's not a milestone for Sydney. It's now safe to begin trying for another baby! I had my annual checkup with my OB doctor yesterday and we discussed my candidacy to attempt a vaginal birth after cesarean, or VBAC. We talked about the risks involved and how my labor will be monitored on D-Day. I had a difficult time coming to terms with Sydney's delivery and the only thing that got me through it was knowing I will have another shot at a natural birth. I'm not talking about unmedicated; I'm talking about a vaginal delivery, the way nature intended. Aside from the greater risks to the baby during a c-section, it's far better to go through one day of pain than weeks and weeks of recovery-especially with a toddler running around. I have done a lot of research, and will continue to do so until the time comes to make a final decision.
Let the fun begin!

Yay for another baby! We should really try to get on the same schedule sometime LOL! I want a pregnant buddy. Maybe on our 3rd we'll plan that out LOL!
My Husband and I are going to start TTC when Emma is about 10 months old, and when i tell people they think Im Crazy! We actually want to try sooner but I have to have surgery in November so I have to wait until after that. I cant wait to give Emma a sibling, and even though it will be hard while the kiddos are young, I think its going to be amazing in the long run for Emma to have siblings (we want four) close in age.
