I officially began making my own baby food! I had so much fun this morning doing this for my baby. I was super excited to have breast milk instead of water in her foods. And it was so easy! Actually, it was quite comical. I had a sweet potato and squash baking in the oven, green beans on the stove, and peas steaming in the microwave when I realized I hadn't expressed any milk yet! So I attached my horns and threw the breast pump over my shoulder as I pureed the peas. I was even doing dishes and texting in the midst of all this. I think I've got it all covered when I hear Sydney waking up from her nap. Oh no! So, I unhook myself to go get her and give her a quick diaper and outfit change before plopping her in the exersaucer to hang out with me in the kitchen. After filling the ice cube trays with her juiced-up veggies, I even got the floor mopped before it was time for Sydney's lunch. I really amaze myself sometimes!
